A free companion skill for the Meridian QGIS MCP harness. Guides agents through connection setup, project and layer inspection, bounded feature reads and edits, coordinate transforms, installed Processing algorithms, and map review, with verification after changes.
Requires a running local QGIS session, the Meridian QGIS plugin, and its stdio MCP adapter connected to an MCP-capable agent. The server and plugin are obtained separately from https://github.com/STOKEDMODELLER/qgis-mcp-bridge. This skill does not host QGIS or include the server binaries.
Uses runtime capability discovery, explicit layer IDs when names are ambiguous, schema inspection, mutation-state checks after timeouts, CRS and unit checks, and evidence-based completion reports.
